The seedling for Saint Rosalia was planted on a month long Tour De Gluttony in Sicily, 2017.
 
Staying on a farm near Palermo with its own olive grove, each night we'd eat locally grown, simple food. On the table was always a bottle of their own freshly-made olive oil. The dishes were humble - plates of seasonal vegetables - but when doused in this amazing olive oil they were elevated to a new level.
 
I was in love. I never thought olive oil could be the star ingredient in a meal! Our host said this is why they eat so many vegetables, because the olive oil is so good.
 
I had a bit of a dream to travel the Med and bring back proper olive oil to Britain, made by small-scale producers. It took me 3 years to pluck up the courage to do it, but here I am!
 
We work with different small producers every batch (every 3-6 months) in an effort to share their own unique oil with a wider audience (most don’t sell beyond their local province) and showcase how diverse oils from different regions can be!
